Dixit is a very original board game. The game contains little rules. You can
already play with children from 8 years old but among adults it is certainly
also so much fun. At Dixit you earn points by giving good tips or by
misleading the others.
In the Dixit game a player chooses secretly a card and gives a hint to his
fellow players. The hint can be a word, a piece of a song, an enigmatic
sentence, ... The other players look in their own cards and search a card that
fits with this tip. Then the chosen cards and the card where it really is
about are mixed and shown. Who picks up the right card, is rewarded. If a card
of a fellow player is pickerd up, then he will also receive points.
Dixit is a surprisingly and funny game you can enjoy with friends and/or
family. Not surprising that the game won the Spiel des Jahres award in 2010.
